Will you do fully remote sessions, where the person isn’t present, even on the phone?
Yes, in some cases. My preference is for each person to show up for themself, present in the session, desiring to bring healing to themself by taking advantage of the opportunity to communicate with their deeper self. As the practitioner, I can’t heal anything; I can only facilitate balance so that your body, mind, spirit, and soul can heal itself. A person who is able to carve out the time to do this work for themself will reap huge benefits! I firmly believe that the more invested you are in your own healing, the better it will be!
That being said, there are occasions when a fully remote session can be done. If you’re in an acute situation, perhaps sick with the flu, and just don’t have the energy to be on the phone, that’s a good time for a remote session. There are also some people who can’t turn off their thinking brains, and while I’m working, I can hear them typing emails, answering their kids, making dinner. The inability to be present for yourself can really hinder the work you’re able to do and receive. If we try a session or two online, and we find this to be the case for you, we can certainly try a remote session (and possibly work on removing any obstacles keeping you from being present!).
The other time a fully remote session can be useful is when someone is very emotionally closed (no judgment, I used to be that person!). In those cases, distance between your thinking brain and emotional side can be helpful until enough has been released that you're more comfortable sitting with and understanding your emotions. Remember, this practice is kind of like going to therapy, except you don't have to talk about it 😊
